The other derivatives of this word, as used in the Koran (87:14), carry the sense of purification from sins, i.e., qad aflaha man tazakka (verily the pure ones prospered). Qad afla h a man tazakk a. He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself. 87:15. وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ. Wa th akara isma rabbihi fa s all a. Wan-nahari iza jallaha. "Demi siang apabila menampakkannya." 4. وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا يَغْشٰىهَاۖ. Wal-laili iza yagsyaha.
